This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.
The Globe Amaranth is a native of South America but has been hybridised to such an extent that many colours are now available. The Buddy Series is the result of one such breeding producing flowers of red, purple, pink and white in a clover-like flower that is everlasting.
Growing to just 20 cm (10 in) high, it a good bedding plant for hot, dry areas in average soils. Its everlasting qualities are good for both cut and dried flowers.
Offered is a packet of 100 seeds with propagation notes.
