A native of southern Western Australia where it prefers light soils in a protected, sunny position. It is drought and frost resistant. (Zones 9 to 11).
An evergreen trailing plant (as opposed to a climber), it will spread to 3 metres and makes an excellent ground cover. The stem is prostrate, woody, slender and vigorous; the leaves are light green divided into three leaflets. The flowers are orange-red, pea-shaped, profuse and appear in loose heads in summer.
Offered is a packet of 20 seeds complete with propagation notes.
