This Sedum (also known as Reflexed Stonecrop, Jenny’s Stonecrop, Blue Stonecrop and Stone Orpine) is a hardy, evergreen, perennial succulent with a yellow flower head containing hundreds of individual flowers. The succulent leaves are blue-green though colours of medium green and yellow-green are known. A prostrate plant with trailing stems, it grows to a height of 20 cm (8 in) with a spread of 60 cm (24 in) and is a rapid grower.
Its weeping habit makes ideal as a groundcover, a tub specimen with hanging stems or a rockery plant cascading down slopes.
Sedums are very adaptable and only require sun and well-drained soils. They are ideal for rock gardens, pot culture, wall niches and mass planted as a flowering ground cover. They tolerate deer, rabbits, drought, heat & humidity, pollution, seashore. slopes, wind and USDA 4 -9.
Flowering time is mid-summer to autumn.
