Leptospermum petersonii
This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.
A native of the New South Wales and Queensland coastal plain, it prefers light to medium, well-drained soils in an open, sunny position. It is drought and moderately frost resistant.
An evergreen shrub to 4 metres with a spread of 2 metres and a slightly weeping habit; the stem is graceful with slender branches and lightly textured crown; the leaves are dark green, very aromatic with a lemon scent and 3.5cm long, bronze coloured when young; the flowers are white, small, solitary, open and profuse appearing in summer.
Propagation by seed occurs readily.
Offered is a packet of 200 seeds (including chaff) with propagation notes.
