Red-Flowered Honey-Myrtle

Melaleuca hypericifolia

(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)

A native of New South Wales in near coastal to coastal regions and is one of the few red-flowering Melaleucas. It will accept drought but dislikes frost.

A large, erect woody shrub to small tree growing to about 4 metres with soft light green foliage. The flowers are a large 6 x 5 cm, orange-red to bright red, appearing from late Spring into Summer.

Offered is a 5 gram packet approx 150,000 seeds including chaff) with propagation notes.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
