Grey Honey-Myrtle

Melaleuca incana

(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)

The Grey Honey-Myrtle (Melaleuca incana) is a medium shrub growing to 2 – 3 metres high with soft, grey, weeping foliage and rough dark grey bark. It is a commonly cultivated garden plant because of its showy yellow flower heads.

Its natural habitat is the South West corner of W.A. where it grows in damp medium heavy soils. This plant tolerates frost but dislikes long periods of dryness. However, it performs well in a garden situation.

Offered is a packet of 200 seeds (includes chaff) with propagation notes.

All seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
