Oblong Leaf Honey Myrtle

Melaleuca lateriflora

Melaleuca lateriflora is commonly known as gorada. A native of Western Australia it grows 1-5 metres with a spread of 1 metre. It is usually an erect shrub with oval leaves and small clusters of white flowers mainly along the older branches. 

Mature leaves are khaki green, flowers are white/cream and appear in September – January.

It likes well-drained light to medium soils in an open, sunny position. It is frost tolerant (zones 9 to 11).

Offered is a packet of 200 seeds (including chaff) with propagation notes.
