A native of Britain, Europe, West Asia and North America (the state flower of Alaska), this tough little plant is a perennial growing to 20cm (8in) with a spread of 30cm (10in) and flowers in the spring for 3 months. It prefers damp, very well-drained gritty soils, rockeries or very stony soils in full sun to part shade. It does not like high humidity but will tolerate heavy frost and is hardy to minus 20 Deg C (-4 F). It prefers soils to have a pH of 6 – 8.
The flowers are a little smaller than true Forget-Me-Not and are very fragrant in the evening and at night. They do not have a scent during daylight hours.
An easy care plant that will self seed if permitted.
Offered is a packet of 200 seeds with propagation notes.
