This Sedum is a hardy, evergreen, mat-forming, perennial succulent native to Western Europe. It thrives in sandy or gravelly soil of moderate to low fertility but needs good drainage to perform well.
Typically it grows from 100 to 180 cm (4-8 in) tall with a spread of 200 – 250 cm (10-12 in). A tough little plant that will cascade over basket edges, pots and rocky ledges (it’s natural habitat].
Sedums are very adaptable and only require sun and well-drained soils. They are ideal for rock gardens, pot culture, wall niches and mass planted as a flowering ground cover. They tolerate deer, rabbits, drought, heat & humidity, pollution, seashore. slopes, wind and USDA 4 -9.
Flowering time is mid-summer to autumn.
