A native of the inland, arid areas of Australia, this small, spreading perennial shrub grows to 30cm high on a variety of soils including red, sandy and stony clay flats. It is drought and frost hardy.
An evergreen shrub, the stem is low with spreading branches. The leaves are greyish-green and covered in a mass of fine hairs. The flowers are orange pea flowers held in terminal racemes of up to 25 blooms. In their natural habitat, most plants are of similar height with only the occasional plant being taller.
Offered as a packet of approx. 50 seeds with grownotes.
