The Cootamundra Wattle is a small tree to a large shrub growing to 5 metres. Its feathery, purple-tinged foliage makes it an attractive ornamental specimen while the masses of golden ball flowers provide colour to any garden from Winter to early Spring.

This attractive plant will tolerate heavy soils, heavy frost, and some dryness. It is fast-growing and is considered very hardy.
