Blackdown Tableland Wattle

A native with the very restricted distribution of the Blackdown Tableland some 29km south-west of Dingo where it grows on sandstone in Eucalyptus woodland. This graceful, fine foliage shrub is considered a rare plant.
An evergreen shrub 1 to 2 metres with a spread of 2 metres, it has erect stems forming a spreading crown. Leaves are 1 to 3 cm long, narrow, held densely along the branches while the flowers are bright yellow balls held in racemes of up to 20 flowers.
