Red-Stemmed Wattle

Acacia rubida

(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List)

A native of New South Wales and Victoria, it prefers light to medium soils in an open, sunny position. It is both frost and drought resistant.

An evergreen shrub to 3 metres with a spread of 3 metres, with a smooth, reddish-barked trunk. The leaves are green and form a dense crown while the flowers are yellow balls in profuse clusters in spring and summer.

This shrub does better with a severe pruning after flowering.

Offered is a packet of 30 seeds with grownotes to assist you in successfully cultivating this snow country tree.

All my seed travels safely with bubble wrap protection.
