It is frost hardy but dislikes drought.An evergreen tufted tree that grows to 6 metres (20ft) with a spread of 2 metres (7ft). The stem is naked and erect; the leaves are long occurring in terminal bunches; the flowers are white and fragrant occurring in large sprays in early summer.The fleshy rhizome may be boiled and eaten.Propagation by seed occurs readily.Offered is a packet of 20 seeds and Grownotes to assist you in propagation.
