Few plants grow as rapidly as colourful Cosmos which are uniform plants that bloom throughout the summer. Sensation is a cultivar that gives a profusion of intense, semi-double flowers which combined with the feathery, green foliage gives an airy touch to the garden.
Cosmos have are very good vase life and are eminently suitable for use as a cut flower and makeup well in a bouquet.
Tolerating poor soil, heat and humidity results in a very adaptable plant for the garden. If you do not deadhead spent flowers they will reseed the garden for the next season and will attract seed-eating birds.
Considered to be easily grown from seed.
