 Eucalyptus chloroclada

(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)

A native of New South Wales this evergreen tree grows on the Western slopes and plains and extends north to Dirranbandi, Queensland.  It is a major  Koala food & is very hardy being drought and frost resistant.

A medium tree reaching 20 metres (66 ft), its trunk bears rough, finely fibrous, flaky bark while the branches have a smooth white to yellowish bark.  The leaves are bluish-green, heart-shaped when young or coppiced & used in the florist industry. The flower buds appear in groups of 7 in August to December and the flowers are white.

An excellent foliage filler for the cut flower industry.

Offered is a packet of approximately 200 seeds (includes chaff) with Grownotes. Buyers should read the disclaimer below.

DISCLAIMER.

All Eucalyptus/Corymbia seed is harvested from the wild under licence and is sold as a combination of fertilised/unfertilised (chaff) seed. In many cases, it is not possible to tell the difference. The ratio of fertilised seed varies greatly and depends wholly on weather conditions prior to seed set. Standard industry practice is to offer 200 seeds per packet which translate to something like 10 to 30 viable seeds (which have not been counted). If the above is not acceptable to you, please do not purchase any of the above seeds.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
