 Eucalyptus pleurocarpa

(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)

A native of Western Australia,  It is a small to medium tree growing to 2-5 metres (6-16ft) with a spread of 3-6 metres (9-19ft).

It has a spreading to erect, straggley habit with many thin stems with smooth, greyish bark. The foliage is thick, leathery and waxy with bluish grey in colour and the flower buds, fruit and stems are white and waxy. Like most mallees, it is well suited to arid and semi-arid environments.

This seed propagates readily.

Offered is a packet of 200 seeds (including chaff) with propagation notes. Buyers should read the disclaimer below.

DISCLAIMER.

All Eucalyptus/Corymbia seed is harvested from the wild under licence and is sold as a combination of fertilised/unfertilised (chaff) seed. In many cases, it is not possible to tell the difference. The ratio of fertilised seed varies greatly and depends wholly on weather conditions prior to seed set. Standard industry practice is to offer 200 seeds per packet which translate to something like 10 to 30 viable seeds (which have not been counted). If the above is not acceptable to you, please do not purchase any of the above seeds.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
