Festuca glauca

(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)

This plant, commonly called Blue Fescue, is a clumping grass (Festuca ovina var. glauca) that can be used in rockeries, as a ground cover, borders or as a feature plant. In the shade, the plant grows in a rich green but in full sun the foliage turns a striking steel-blue. The photo is of mature clumps that have been grown in full sun.

This grass is as easy as any grass to grow, will multiply by clumping and is tolerant of light frosts but does require watering for best results. The clumps may be divided every two to three years.

Offered is a packet of approx. 1000 seeds and Grownotes to assist you to grow this easily cultivated plant.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
