Himalayan or Evergreen Flowering Ash
Fraxinus griffithii
(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)
Himalayan Ash and Evergreen Flowering Ash are the common names for Fraxinus griffithii, a small dense tree grown by local councils as a street tree because it does not need lopping if grown under power lines.
A small, evergreen tree that grows to 7 metres (21ft) with a spread of 3 metres (15ft), this tree tolerates most soils and prefers an open, sunny position. It has compound leaves consisting of multiple leaflets forming a very dense, compact crown of dainty fern-like foliage. Masses of white flowers in Spring are followed by persistent, winged seed. Frost and drought tolerant, this tree is often found in inland gardens.
The seed has been professionally collected, cleaned and stored for commercial use.
Offered is 50 seeds with grow notes to assist you to cultivate this lovely small tree.
All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
