(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)

A native of the sandy heaths of West Australia between Geraldton and Shark Bay where it prefers light to medium, well-drained soils in an open, sunny position. It is drought and frost resistant.

A large, evergreen shrub growing to 4 metres (12 ft) with a spread of 4 metres. The stem is erect and branching; the leaves are large (30mm), greyish-green, pinnately lobed and terete (cylindrical); the flowers are cream in long, branching, candle-like clusters up to 25cm (10″) long. Flowers appear in late spring to summer and are highly scented though some say they have the aroma of ‘old socks’.

Offered is a packet of 20 seeds with grownotes to assist you to successfully cultivate this large-flowered native shrub.
