Bushy Heliotrope

Heliotropium paniculatum
This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.
A native of semi-arid and tropical Northern New South Wales, Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia, this native annual prefers a well prepared soil in a semi protected and partially shaded position position. While this tropical plant does not like frost it will survive as a summer planting in Australia at least.
A slender, compact shrub, bushy with a greyish appearance. The leaves are alternate, 10-30mm long, entire with recurved (curved backwards) margins; the flowers are terminal in dense clusters and may be white to mauve-purple. An uncommon plant in all states that appears when sufficient water is available. It has the typical Heliotrope vanilla scent.

Offered is a packet of 200 seeds with grownotes to assist to cultivate this native annual.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
