Scented or Creamy Honey-Myrtle
Melaleuca acuminata

A native of the whole of West Australia, and parts of South Australia, Northern Territory, Victoria and a single known occurrence in New South Wales where it prefers light, sandy, alkaline soils or red clay loams in a protected, sunny position. It is frost and drought resistant.
An evergreen shrub growing to 2 metres with a spread of 2 metres. The stem is smooth with a tough bark and erect slender branches; the leaves are opposite in two rows, elliptical, acuminate and 1cm long with black dots; the flowers are scented, cream occurring in small globular clusters and appearing in summer.
Offered is a packet of 200 seeds (including chaff) with propagation notes.
