Lemon Honey-Myrtle

Melaleuca densa

(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)

A native of Western Australia’s southwest corner where it prefers light to medium well-drained soils in an open, sunny position. It is drought and frost tolerant.

An evergreen shrub to 2 metres with a similar spread; the stem is erect with spreading branches; the leaves are small, short, blunt, 8mm long and crowded around the stem; the flowers are white or yellow occurring in small, abundant brushes in spring.

Propagation by seed occurs readily.

Offered is a packet of 200 seeds (including chaff) with propagation notes.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
