A native of the southern coastal heathland of Western Australia, it prefers light to medium soils in an open, sunny position. It is drought and frost resistant.
An evergreen shrub growing to 1.2 metres with a spread of 1.5 metres. The stem is erect, with a spreading densely textured crown and weeping branches. The leaves are broad and blunt 0.4 cm long while the flowers are rich pink with five distinct claws appearing in early spring.
Offered is a packet of 200 seeds (including chaff) with propagation notes.
