This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List
A native of West Australia, west of a line from Geraldton to Albany, where it likes light to medium, moist soils in a protected, sunny position. It is drought resistant but dislikes frosts.
A rhizotomateous perennial growing to a height and spread of 0.4 metres. The stem is smooth, erect and flowering; the leaves are green, strap-like and 45cm long; the flowers are formed of 3 petals and 3 sepals giving six lobes. This plant is a true member of the Iris family and can be propagated by division.
A lovely tufted plant for rockeries, borders and perfect for informal gardens.
Offered as a packet of 20 seeds with grownotes.
All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
