Orthrosanthus multiflorus
This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List
Native to New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and West Australia where it prefers light to medium, moist soils in an open, sunny position. It will tolerate drought but only light frost.
A perennial, strap-leaved, clumping plant growing to 0.3-0.6 metres with a spread of 0.5 metres it is an excellent rockery plant and looks good when mass planted.
The stem is erect, stiff and flowering; the leaves are bright green, smooth, flat and strap-like; the flowers appear September to December, are blue and persistent.
Considered an easy plant to grow.
