Sargent Viburnum ‘Onondaga’

This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.
An upright, deciduous shrub with large 10cm wide, maple-like leaves which emerge maroon and turn reddish-purple in autumn. Onondaga produces showy, large, individual deep red flower buds surrounded by white flowers which contrast well with the purple foliage.
This Viburnum is fully frost hardy and is remarkably trouble-free. It grows to a height of 4 metres (13ft), flowers spring to summer, and prefers adequately drained soils in an open sunny or lightly shaded position.
