Lacebark Kurrajong

This tree goes by a multitude of common names – White Kurrajong, Scrub Bottle Tree, Lacebark and Lacebark Kurrajong. It is native to New South Wales, Queensland and the Northern Territory of Australia where it prefers medium to heavy soils and a shady position.
Drought and frost hardy and usually deciduous in Summer, the Lacebark (Brachychiton discolor) produces a mass of pink bell-shaped flowers while leafless. This gives rise to another common name in Florida – Pink Flame Tree.
