This plant is a native of Australia.  It is used in mines and roadside rehabilitation work in New South Wales and Queensland.

A bushy erect shrub with 3cm wedge shaped leaves, attractive small flowers and fruits from spring to autumn.

Inconspicuous yellowish-green flowers in clusters in spring are followed by claret coloured fruits in summer making a wonderful contrast against the green leaves.

Frost hardy and makes a good screen plant. Useful in flower arrangements.
