Snowy River Wattle

Acacia boormanii

A native of New South Wales and Victoria in the high country, it prefers heavy soils in a cool, moist, protected sunny position. It is frost and snow resistant but drought tender.

An evergreen tree to  4 metres with a spread of 3 metres, with a smooth, silvery barked trunk. The leaves are greyish green, soft and narrow while flowers are a bright yellow on slender spikes and appear in spring.

Offered is a packet of 30 seeds with grownotes to assist you in successfully cultivating this snow-country tree.
