Heirloom Yellow Watermelon
Citrullus lanata

This watermelon originates from Africa where it is the original watermelon before pink/red-fleshed melons ever existed.
The difference is only slight but the yellow flesh is much sweeter than the red flesh and has a more honey-like flavour. The red-fleshed varieties arose from the natural hybridising of the yellow-fleshed melon in its natural habitat. This melon has been known and used for the past 5000 years.
Offered is a packet of 200 seeds (organically grown) with Grownotes to assist in their cultivation.
All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
