Impatiens walleriana cv – Impatiens Xtreme Utopia Mix seeds x30

Impatiens grow in the warm areas of most continents and it is the large number of species that has given us the profusion of colour found in modern cultivars. Impatiens like a moist, shaded position and they will reward you with a continuous array of blooms if they get it.

Growing to 20-25cm (8-10in) high, they can be grown outdoors in beds or as edging as long as there are no frosts (which will absolutely destroy them) or indoors as winter colour.  They will also perform well in a planter, window box or hanging basket, their large, 55mm (2 1/4in), free-flowering blooms in salmon, white, pink and red are a delight to see.

This cultivar blooms reliably in heavy shade. 

Propagation by seed occurs readily.
