Poppy Shirley’s Double Mix

Papaver rhoeas cv

This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.

Poppy Shirley’s Double mix is a mixture of five colours – pink, rose, salmon, scarlet and white, the blooms are large 75-100mm (3-4 in) and held well above the foliage.

Growing 55 – 75 cm (20-30 in) tall, these annuals put on quite a display and if you can’t be bothered with ‘dead-heading’ then the plants will self-seed for next year’s display.

Preferring a wide range of soil ranging from some sand to some clay in part to full sun, they are drought tolerant once established. The dried seed capsules are much prized for floral arrangements and crafts.

Offered is a packet of approx. 200 seeds with cultivation notes.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
