Aeonium percarneum
(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List)
A native of the Canary islands – where most of this family live on a dry, gritty, free-draining loam. It is a succulent with a rosette of leaves that can grow to 300 mm (12 in) across but is rarely seen at that size.
The leaves are a delightful greyish blue-green arranged alternately often shaded with white or rose with deep red edges which can be strongly toothed. Preferring a semi-shaded position, Aeoniums do not like very hot, dry conditions (summer) and will go dormant, curling their leaves to conserve moisture. Growing them in moist shade will keep them growing but their natural growth period is winter to spring.
Offered is a pack of 20 seeds with grownotes.
All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
