The Bird of Paradise (Strelitzia reginae) is a clump-forming plant that grows to a height of 1 metre. It is a native of South Africa, prefers deep, well-drained soil and will tolerate some dryness and light frosts. Grow in an open, full sun position with moderate water.
The royal purple and brilliant orange flowers are large and make excellent cut flowers.
Offered as a packet of 10 seeds with grownotes.
All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
