Trichodiaderma mariottii

This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List

This plant is a native of the Western Cape Province of South Africa. It is a dwarf perennial succulent forming a dense rounded shrub or matt of intermingled blue-green leaves with a brownish tip and a crown of brown-white bristles similar to a cactus aureole. However, it is a succulent, not a cactus.

Growing 4-5 cm tall it has a woody stem, crowded cylindrical leaves that hide the nodes and pink daisy-like flowers from spring to autumn. The root system is solitary and tuberous but plants are grown from cuttings usually have a much-branched tuber.

Offered is a packet of 20 seeds and Grownotes to assist you to grow this plant.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
