A native from the south coast of Western Australia grows in a strip 1.5 km wide from the coast. It has a distinct habitat starting at Torbay and ending at Point Riche. The plant grows to 4 metres high and commences branching very close to the ground from a very sturdy trunk. Flower spike colour varies between gold and wine red occurring Spring-Summer.

This plant grows readily from seed.

Offered is a packet of 5 seeds (red-flowering) complete with propagation notes.
