Sedum Dragon’s Blood

Sedum spurium coccineum

This Sedum is a hardy, evergreen, perennial succulent with a medium red flower head containing hundreds of individual flowers. The succulent leaves are green tinged with purple on the leaf tips.

Growing to a height of just 10-16 cm, it will thrive in full sun, tolerate hot, dry conditions and frost.

Sedums are very adaptable and only require sun and well-drained soils. They are ideal for rock gardens, pot culture, wall niches and mass planted as a flowering ground cover. They tolerate deer, rabbits, drought, heat & humidity, pollution, seashore. slopes, wind and USDA 4 -9.

Flowering time is mid-summer to autumn.
