Native to the Eneabba area 150km north of Perth, West Australia, this shrub prefers light to medium, well-drained soils in an open, sunny position. It is a frost and drought resistant shrub of inland sand plains.
An evergreen shrub, it grows to 2 – 3 metres with a similar spread. The stem is stout, branching with a well rounded crown. The leaves are bright green, linear and 2cm long.
The flowers are pale orange and white cylindrical spikes, 30 cm long, appearing through autumn and winter.
